DevEx Portal Returns “Invalid Password” Despite Valid Credentials

A few weeks ago, I attempted to cash out via DevEx after updating my tax details on Tipalti. However, despite entering the correct details for each of the required fields, the DevEx portal continuously returns an “Invalid Password” error.

I have already tried several troubleshooting measures, including:

  • Resetting my Tipalti account password
  • Logging out and back into my account
  • Verifying that I am using the correct password
  • Attempting to cash out using a different browser

After exhausting these options, I contacted Roblox Support in hopes of resolving the issue. However, after almost three weeks of waiting, I was told that I apparently “do not currently have a DevEx portal under this account”, despite having received an invitation and successfully completing my DevEx portal registration a year prior.

This has left me in a situation where I am unable to submit any DevEx requests because I apparently do not have a DevEx portal, while simultaneously being unable to create a new one because a portal is already associated with my account.

I am therefore effectively locked out of DevEx despite having an existing portal that I can still access independently.

Expected behavior

I should be able to access and use the existing DevEx portal associated with my Roblox account, enter my correct Tipalti credentials, and successfully submit a DevEx request. Alternatively, if the existing portal is not correctly associated with my Roblox account, it should be correctly linked so that I can use DevEx normally.

Hey! Just to confirm, were you entering your Roblox account password right here?

Hey there. No, I was entering my Tipalti Supplier password.

The field is expecting your Roblox password. Please try and let us know if that works.
