DevForum Greetings Message And Tutorial No Longer Works

What’s currently happening

When registering onto the DevForum, @discobot is supposed to send you a greetings message, as of March 13th, 2026, this no longer is the case and has seemingly stopped working entirely which now has made the “Certified” and “Licensed” badge no longer obtainable.

Further to add, even IF you have the message from @discobot before it broke, and if you still haven’t completed the user tutorial or advanced tutorial, it now yields nothing and just flat out doesn’t work now. Not only that, but the actual virtual little diplomas that @discobot sends you now appears as a broken/private page. This could be due to lounge being privated, but considering this happened on the 13th before it was removed, it’s not really known why this happened and is just a guess on my part.

What is SUPPOSED to happen

Whenever a user registers onto the DevForum, they should be correctly receiving a message from @discobot and should be able to complete both the user tutorial, and advanced user tutorial.

These features was temporary disabled when we mitigate some issues. We just reenabled it. Thanks for reporting this bug.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s because discobot isn’t/wasn’t age verified

Edit: FWIW the fancy dynamically generated certificates still work kinda fine. They appear as normal when visiting directly, although at least in the preview window the fonts are broken and the avatar + logo pictures are also broken.
