How do i delete items from my inventory again?
Now for real, why did y’all think creating Rthro-exclusive items for devrel was a good idea? Barely anyone uses Rthro, and if anything, y’all should have gone for something that isn’t limited to Rthro only. Like come on, not to be someone talking about how old was better, but these items, don’t even have a reference to roblox studio as a whole. It looks like something i could purchase at the catalog for 120 robux.

These items are absolutely incredible. Every single one of them looks so well thought out and just plain beautiful.

The Map of Knowledge has that ancient scroll vibe that makes it feel super important, like it holds secrets from another world. The Fairy of Collaboration is so pretty — the wings glow in such a magical way, and the soft colors really make it stand out. I love the Studiomancer Robe — it looks so elegant and powerful, like something a master developer would wear. The gold and white details are perfect.

The Boots of Anchorage look strong and stylish, and they just feel like they give you power and stability. The Crystal of Creation necklace is stunning — that glowing blue crystal looks alive, like it’s full of energy. And the Developer Conduit is awesome with that futuristic, techy design. It looks like something out of a sci-fi world.

Then there’s the winner set — seriously next-level. The All-Axis Seer hat is so clever with that 3D rotation axis. It’s such a cool touch that only devs would get. The Toolbox Cloak looks epic — all the little symbols make it feel like you’re wearing your tools. And the Workspace Staff is amazing. The globe on top, the swirling colors — it just screams magic and creativity.

These aren’t just items — they tell a story. And they look beautiful while doing it.

Nice AI generated post. (I put it into zerogpt and it said it was 100% AI written :sob:)

No offense intended, but all of these accessories feel lifeless and honestly in comparison of the Prize Series 1, these really feel like a major degrade to creative aspect of the accessories we had been given before.

The whole point of the Prize Series 1 was how each particular accessory was branded with something from Roblox Studio, while this Prize Series 2 barely shows anything about Roblox Studio except the Toolbox Cloak which doesn’t even show anything Toolbox-related but rather it shows all of the Explorer’s Icons for specific objects and/or services from that Explorer.

The quality REALLY fell off in this and I think people will lose their interest with the accessories especially being made only for Rthro (R15) characters, aka. accessories incapable of being equipped for R6 characters. (to those who say R6 character bundles exist, it does not avoid the question of a R6 forced characters, plus, animations are forced to these characters)

TO THOSE WHO LIKE SHORTER EXPLANATIONS
These accessories suck, the older ones had cool brand icons on it to show it off to people that you’re a Developer and stuff, now we have accessories that look like they don’t show off anything but looking like a mage for whatever reason.

Garbage RHTRO items. I’m happy to get my first item from the previous series. As said in previous comment, these items are really lifeless. Please consider to revert this update or make real, quality ROBLOX items. Developers will no longer care about these rewards. Most of them, even if they were free items, I wouldn’t bother spending a few clicks to get them.

This is honestly really disappointing. I was genuinely excited for the new series—until I saw that the items look like AI-generated textures. What happened to the old prize items made by reputable UGC creators, where the designs actually looked wearable and well-made? I am honestly glad I got the first-year items over the past 4-years.

Glad everybody unanimously agrees that prize series 1 was way better. Not much else to say that hasn’t already been said, it would be cool if we got both items at the same time instead of leaving series 1 to rot.

(The axis hat looks really good tho!)

When I see these prizes, I lose motivation to participate in any GameJam, because it have terrible rewards.

Come to your senses, nobody needs Rthro accessories.

The old one looks so much better to the point where I would actually and happily wear it but this new one is an okay attempt

The main problem in participation rewards is that they have nothing in common with studio’s aesthetics. I didn’t use previous devrel prizes in my avatar, however they could have been incorporated in a big variety of skins, whereas the new ones are intended to be worn mostly by Rthro characters, which limits their applicability.

Also, I love to show off with some of my collectibles on my profile, but the absense of roblox studio’s theme does not provide any context for these accessories and I can’t find yourself proudly placing these rewards to my collection

The only thing I can do with these participation accessories - is wear them as an outfit, however to achieve this goal, I need to participate in at least 3 to 4 jams, which is a significant time investment

Since 2021, I’ve been willing to participate in almost every game jam possible, and after 4 years, I’ve only recieved 6 participation rewards (from the achievement medal to developer keys), including this extra medal

First series of devrel prizes felt like a great additional bonus for me, due to all of these reasons. I have to admit that winning accessories are really cool

Proud to say I’ve fully completed the previous prize series  alongside some of the other developer items released during the era. I’m curious if the number of completionists will ever be exposed, as that’ll make for some cool nerd trivia

Honestly I’m not sure if having them follow a particular theme is a great idea, since most accessories should be intended to be worn or displayed and fit overall with any avatar. However, having them all mage themed really makes it clash a little more with most avatars. Lots of these can’t be worn by R6 avatars either, and I think most developers would actually prefer R6 because it’s easier to work with and fits with most styles better than R15/rthro. (Supported by the fact that lots of popular games, including top two games with over 1M CCU, use R6) That excludes lots of developers participating in future game jams from ever really using the accessory they earn. Not that they were the whole point of game jams anyway but it’s still a little bit of a let down.

Edit: just realized the only ones remotely related to development are part of the “Winner Series” anyways.

Thoroughly disappointed in this series, items look well made it isn’t that.

These accessories have not only nothing to do with development, but are largely limited to Rthro, an avatar option I’ve barely seen anyone use, let alone developers.

DevRel is either out of touch with how developers express themselves on their platform, or is once more trying to push Rthro down our throats, at the expense of cool UGC given out like the first series.

Old DevRel prizes were much cooler than those that i see right now, like old ones had that aesthetic and theme of them having those kind of relations with “Studio” And sometimes even cool design choices like “Crown Of Knowledge” when its basically a domino crown but more of how developer it would look like.

Old items had that sort of charm in them as being a cool rewards for a cool challenges. When this is more of something i would see get uploaded through ugc.
