Sessions
Your job is to keep the interview in order and supervise. Unless there aren’t enough interviewers you do not interview. (You are allowed interview, but it is best that you supervise and help when needed.) Headmaster’s Assistant + (HMA+) only can host an interview session. Remember: you need at least 10 interviewees to host a interview session. (Unless stated otherwise) you can only delay ten minutes before canceling. If you need to cancel last minute, that’s okay! Make sure to give a valid reason and tell a co-host to host instead of you. You may go Away From Keyboard (AFK), but not more than five minutes. If you need to do something that’s more than five minutes, let a co-host take over.
How to begin the interviews
Five minutes before the scheduled starting time, quiet everyone down and request them to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder ( STS). Interviewees should stand on the back two lines. Vice Principal + (VP+) should stand on the back red line as they are interviewing. Supervisor+ can interview only if needed. Once the interviews start, introduce yourself and go over the rules. You are only allowed to interview two people at a time.

Interviewers should check if employees…
- Do their research
Having knowledge of Dino Daycare prior to their interview. The more you know about the daycare and what it stands for, the better chance you have of selling yourself in the interview. You also should find out about the daycare’s culture to gain insight into your potential happiness towards the job.
- Look sharp
Select what to wear to the interview. Depending on the industry and position, get out your best interview clothes. Even if the company has a casual environment, you don’t want to look like you have no care in your outfit. Above all, dress for confidence. If you feel and look good, others will respond to you accordingly.
- Be prepared
You should also have questions prepared to ask at the end of the interview, for extra assurance.
- Be on time
Never arrive late to an interview. Allow extra time to arrive early in the vicinity, allowing for factors like getting lost. Enter the building three to five minutes before the interview.
- Show enthusiasm
Demonstrate confidence. Speak distinctly in a confident voice, even though you may feel shaky.
- Listen
One of the most neglected interview skills is listening. Make sure you are not only listening but also reading between the lines. Sometimes what is not said is just as important as what is said.
- Answer the Question Asked
Candidates often don’t think about whether they are actually answering the questions the interviewers ask. Make sure you understand what is being asked, and get further clarification if you are unsure.
- Give specific examples
Prepare your responses before the interview. Give examples that highlight your successes and uniqueness. Your past behavior can indicate your future performance.
Questions to ask during the interview
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Why do you want this job?
- What attracted you to this daycare?
- Why should we hire you?
- Have you ever worked in the Roblox daycare community?
- How do you handle misbehavior in the classroom?
- What makes you stand out compared to other interviewees?
- What interests you most about this job?
- What kind of contribution will you make to our daycare?
Note that you can ask up to 3 custom questions as well.
Passing/Failing Interviewees
At the end of the interview, you are to determine if they had failed or passed the interview.
You may fail the applicant shall they have one or more of the following:
- Bad grammar; no effort put into it.
- Undetailed answers.
- A non-professional attitude.
Tell the applicant that they had failed and kick them from the game.
Shall they pass, you are to congratulate them and ask them if they wish to be a Nurse or Teacher’s Assistant. Once they answer, promote them and log it. Once done, kick the passing applicant.
