This should be self explanatory. I somehow sent a robux transfer to an account that was one symbol off from the actual user name I meant to send my robux to, and after a quick check on their user profile, the user who “accepted” my robux was an inactive account. The robux I sent were instantly withdrawed and are not “pending” so they did accept the robux transferred to them without their involvement.
However, why are robux transfers automatically accepted for users that are inactive to begin with? If they age verified their age in 2018, back in the day when age verification was new, why is the feature to recieve transfers automatically enabled? Especially if the account is not in use?
This is a huge oversight by the developers, a recipe for disaster as well, as inactive accounts are unable to spend robux in the first place.
Now, the robux I’ve originally meant to send to a friend of mine are stuck on an account that nobody occupies, without any hope to be returned or sent to the right person, due to the developers on the platform thinking that it would have been smart to automatically enable this feature for everyone. I personally would think it wouldn’t been as bad if the user in question was a active roblox player, **however they are inactive, their inventory is completely empty, and they have not played any games on the platform.
