Disconnecting every 15 to 20 minutes and bad ping

I don’t play Roblox much but when I do I disconnect so much and even when I’m very close to the server I’m playing

(in the same state as the server)

my ping is around 150-300

while in other games I play I hardly disconnect and get around 50-100

how can i fix this?

and can Roblox make disconnecting like how valve games do?

where it pauses your game for 30 seconds and if you can reconnect in that time then put you back into the game.

This system seems so much more forgiving instead of just instantly kicking you off the server.

and yes I’ve let Roblox through my fire wall and I use LAN most of the time with a good ISP.

any way I can fix this? and roblox said they would be making their servers better in 2023 but I haven’t seen any difference.

Is your ping stable or does it heavily bounce up and down?

Had same problem forewer. Very annoying to disconnect from game when you almost got something.

tends to bounce from time to time but only on roblox

if its good in every other game you play, try using a VPN since it could make your routing to the server a lot faster

that doesn’t sound like a bad idea but these problems happen from servers that are within my state.

And I cant really afford a good vpn

however I could see this being useful for someone

I had the same problem where the state right next to me was giving me 350 ping with spikes. Then I connected to a VPN and it dropped to 30-40, with no spikes.
