When you dismiss a notification, it animates out and then collapses to 4px tall. This causes the top notification to slowly drift lower and lower down as dismissed notifications continue taking up space above it.
Tested on Win 11 with Firefox.
Expected behavior
It should animate out and stop taking space entirely.

While anyone is looking at this thing, please I beg you, make the dismiss animation take 0.3 seconds or less. It’s excruciating to dismiss piled up notifications with a 1 second animation right now, and as a result I do not engage with the widget whatsoever just to avoid it.
Or… hear me out…
Just remove the animation entirely and do what every other notification widget does by simply popping then moving everything up.
