DMCA Counter-Notice Restoration Overdue — 118+ Days Past Statutory Deadline, Account Terminated Since March 28 (Ticket #170888474)

My Roblox account was terminated on March 28, 2026. Since then I’ve gone through every available channel with no resolution and, critically, no human review at any point.

For the first two months, I filed dozens if not hundreds of standard support tickets. Every single one was met with the same automated “under review” response — no human agent ever engaged with the case. My first DMCA counter-notice also exceeded the 14-business-day statutory deadline with no action taken, which forced me to file a renewed counter-notice on May 27, 2026 (Ticket #170888474) for my UGC asset “Dominus Draconis” (Asset ID: 123852471585324): Dominus Draconis - Roblox. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(2)(C), a service provider must restore disputed material within 10–14 business days of a valid counter-notice unless the claimant files a federal action and notifies the provider. It has now been 117+ calendar days since that counter-notice — and nearly six months since termination — with no restoration, no lawsuit confirmation, and no substantive response.

Beyond support, I’ve filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), which went unanswered by the platform. I’m located in Morocco, so per the counter-notice terms I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where Roblox Corporation is headquartered. I’m posting here from my alt account, specifically trying to reach a staff member with actual authority to intervene, since every standard channel has led to the same dead end. I’ve also now sent the full ticket history and counter-notice details directly to copyright_agent@roblox.com, since that appears to be the correct channel with actual legal-team visibility.

I’m not walking away from this account. It carries a creator status I’ve built over time, and I’m not prepared to lose it to a dispute that has never once been reviewed by a person. What I’m asking for is straightforward: confirmation of the claimant’s status if a lawsuit has in fact been filed, or full restoration of the asset and reversal of all associated moderation actions, consistent with what the statute requires.

Basically a UGC you uploaded was taken down after Roblox or another UGC Creator issued a takedown. In Creator Hub it will show you the IP Claims made against you and who it was by.

Whoever took it down showed enough evidence that the IP belongs to them that Roblox took it down. When you filed a counter-notice that is basically you legally claiming under penalty of perjury (a federal offense) that you own the IP and when you have your chance to upload your proof of owning the IP to the Copyright Agent.

Roblox is required to restore it within 14 days if there is no lawsuit, but my guess as to what happened was that the claimant contacted a Copyright Agent or DevRel and had your account terminated for fraudulently using the counter-notice to restore a stolen UGC. So even if on paper, they have to restore the UGC, they are allowed to terminate your account and terminated users have all marketplace items taken down for breaking Roblox ToS, as opposed to International Copyright Law.

The IP for the dominus mesh belongs to Roblox, and new transformative content changing that mesh drastically lets other creators upload domini but the 1-1 rips from the catalog get taken down.

Your best course of action is to contact the copyright agent immediately and prove that you made the Dominus Draconis. If you really made it originally it is extremely easy to prove as you would have everything in your Blender collection from the mesh, individual parts, reference images, bezier curves, logs, as well as your group folders, fill layers, masks, etc in Substance Painter.

Ex: A sports backpack I made and have all the original master files to and all the logs

If it was stolen the ripper only has the mesh and nothing else. No .blend or .spp files, no logs of them doing anything except importing in the mesh

Ex: view from a stolen mesh ripped from the catalog

Going to be completely honest, this makes you look like the bad guy. I’m not saying you are, but it definitely looks that way because these situations are very easy to navigate if you are legitimate. Best of luck tho!

I swear on my life bro that i have made the model from scratch and i have the full blender file and i can get to break down all the steps i have taken and that dominus is nothing sililar to a 1:1 dominus that exists in roblox. The only problem i am facing is HOW CAN I GET TO CONTACT A COPYRIGHT AGENT. Like brother i have been trying for so long i can provide every evidence that leads to the acknowledgement of my own creations + the continious attemps i have tried for my counter notice to be atleast read while these macros keep me away from any copyright agent.

Just please can you help me figure out how to fix this mess i would really appreciate it bro

And i just realised that I can’t reach this tab because my account is already terminated or is there actually any possible way of doing that ?

copyright_agent@roblox.com is their email.

Intellectual Property Guidelines | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub shows you the steps of how to structure your email to them. But tbh it might be a lost cause if the claimant is Roblox. If it’s not an individual UGC creator, Roblox owns the IP and copyright for all things titled dominus and they have the right to ban anyone at their sole discretion.

bro. i said that my counter notice case did not get any answer till now and i am trying to get this case fixed asap.
