Hello, recently I was dmcaed by a bad actor and I sent my counter notice in, after weeks of waiting I finally got the asset that they dmcaed restored, but the item that it was linked to was not restored.
Expected behavior
Items that require the restored asset should be restored along with the asset. Agents should be trained to at least respond to questions when this happens instead of giving the default Roblox end of conversation prompt.

At first glance this seems reasonable, but DMCA agents are not specialized in this, and maybe the main item itself (apart from the dependency) is offensive in any way. The copyright agents are not there to enforce platform rules, and might not even have the knowledge.
Their job is only to make the DMCA’d asset available on the platform/website within 10–14 days if they receive a valid counter-notification from you or your guardian/legal representative.
Therefore, it makes more sense for the associated item, which is unrelated to the IP-claimed asset, to be reviewed and restored by the appeals team, who are appropriate and knowledgeable about the platform’s policies, and due to the nature of the DMCA process, this behavior is intentional, as they only handle the alleged infringement.
