I recently flagged a DM I got from another member on the DevForum for harassment and one of the moderators acknowledged it the usual way, but I had a follow-up a few days later and just posted it as a reply - will they even bother to check it or I do I need to file a whole new message (and will they even check that)?
Moderators Of The DevForum Community are always watching the content you post on the website they will follow up on the incident if it deemed necessary to do so if not consider your âFeedback Messageâ as the problem being resolved.
Just send a message to the DevEngagementTeam group if you want to be sure that they have seen the update.
Isnât that a bit excessive / redundant though? The whole group of moderators is already âattachedâ to the message and I feel like it would annoy them.
Could I simply just invite the DET group to the existing DM?
Thatâs fine, it doesnât really matter whether you add them to the DM or you send a new DM with a link to the flagged post.
But how do I invite an entire group to a DM? I see the +, but from there I donât know what to type.
If you start typing the team name it should show it in the suggestions that pop up.
Thatâs the group name.
Got it. Thanks.
I really hope that this issue is truly resolved, because I honestly never expected a full member here to send me such a message.
While the majority of people (full member or otherwise) wonât send those kinds of messages, there are always those who stray from the rules.
Again, this is the minority, so by flagging messages like the one you recieved, you helped prevent the minority of unpleasant people from turning into the majority.
Thereâs obviously no way to fully resolve it, because in ANY community there will be those who break the rules.
