When putting a docked widget into the dock that allows it to be hidden/shown causes a mishmash of the ui to show, on a fresh launch itll show a semi transparent box till hovered over where itll become fully visible, blocking the widget
seems it takes the size of what the widgets would be if pulled out
happens with all plugins disabled and betas disabled, attached is video

To be able to see the docked widget even with the others hidden
I have no clue what these things are called, so if someone could give the right name so i could edit it in, that would be epic.
Happening to me as well. And you cannot select anything under it.

This is only happening as of the latest Studio version, which I updated to today.
Hmm, I’m having issues reproducing this - can you confirm if this is only for specific panels (toolbox, asset manager, terrain editor, etc) or in general for any panel you set to collapse? Does it matter about the layout before you collapse it? I reproduced the layout from the video and didn’t see this.
I’ve noticed that it occurs when my studio widget setup is saved with the side widgets in tab form when a file is loaded. I’ve found that for me that if you close all side widget tabs and close studio so it saves the widget setup and reopen it, it will fix it. It only seems to related to the side widgets tabs / docking area as the top and bottom doesn’t run into this issue.
It does the same thing, even if you redo your widget setup with side tabs. You have to keep repeating this process or avoid tabbing side widgets to avoid the issue.
The same is happening to me. It seems that the issue is caused by collapsing any kind of panel, no matter the layout. The issue only happens on the left side of the screen.
ive only had it happen on the left side, relaunch is the only temp fix
