So I am recently trying to apply a MaterialVarient (custom material) to a part when I point my mouse at it, but whenever I do so the part doesn’t change its material type and also I get this icon with a red “x” in workspace explorer below it like in this screenshot here.
Does anyone know what i’m doing wrong and how to fix it? Thank you very much.
Make sure the selected Material of the part matches the MaterialVariant. For example, if your custom MaterialVariant is categorized as Plastic, then the Material of the Part must be Plastic.
The red cube with an X indicates an issue with your MaterialVariant.
