Does anyone know if its possible to script a straight rope shrinking by one end

On the above image I have already scripted the spinning of the wheel for the well, but anyone know if it is possible to make the rope decreasing by it length when I steer the wheel?

Shrinking by one end only.

I would think you would have to move it up a bit while shrinking it because it isn’t possible to only shrink one end with a script (as far as I know).
