If you overwrite an animation in studio, and you don’t publish the game. Will players in game still see the updated version of the animation or will they see the old version? It’s been a question in my head for some time now and if they in fact can’t see the updated version, it would mean I don’t have to create new animations every time I want to update them.
Players will still see the updated animation as long as the animation is published to the same asset ID
When you overwrite an animation, you’re essentially updating the content of an existing asset ID, this means that anyone using that ID will now see the new content once the animation is saved and uploaded
That’s how I think of it atleast I could be wrong ![]()
