Does poker games allowed on roblox?

Hello developers,

My team has a good idea for making a poker game, but we’re unsure whether it could be taken down or violate Roblox’s terms.

It will be a straightforward poker game with no gamepasses or monetization that give or affect chips in any way.

If a player runs out of chips, they’ll be able to earn more by completing in-game tasks. There will be no competition or real-world value, and it’s all for fun.

Would this type of game get banned?

I’ve noticed many popular games have crate systems that are arguably similar to real gambling with money, so it seems inconsistent. However, I’ve also seen posts saying poker is strictly prohibited, and others claiming it’s allowed only in 18+ experiences. I’m confused and would appreciate clarification.

“Except where prohibited by local law or regulation, we allow unplayable gambling content, such as references to gambling and related imagery. However, we prohibit both simulated and actual gambling activities on the platform. No real money, Robux, or in-experience items of value may be exchanged in connection with any gambling activities.”

It’s up you to whether you want to chance it and try to skirt the lines, but I wouldn’t.
