Yes, you absolutely can have holes in MeshParts, or technically, holes in the mesh content assigned to a MeshPart. There is generally no reason this wouldn’t be supported, so is there a specific effect or use case you’re looking to achieve?

those holes heavily affect collision solver, you know
namily the edges
Default mode - it simply doesn’t know where the surface terminates
Precise Decomposition mode - it is 100% sure the surface never had a hole
