I personally don’t like the automatic pan. I haven’t ridden in a car that has this useful outside of the follow camera mode.

I agree that it should be gone from all games because it’s annoying and doesn’t provide any benefit, but if you want to stop it for your games you can delete lines 104-180 in CameraScript>RootCamera>ClassicCamera
Thing is I have no game to change that has any mass use of vehicle seats, but most other games use them and I don’t want the auto-pan.

The new behavior (circa player scripts) where the camera will follow the direction the player is facing until they rotate the camera then rotate back, is incredibly, insanely annoying. It doesn’t work in a logical way and I have never found it to be better than the old behavior.

Whenever you try to look at something that isn’t forward, Roblox says, “HAH LOSER the only important thing is ahead of you! There’s no reason you need to look behind you, even if you’re backing up!”
The other thing is that even if you try to adjust the height using the mouse, it reverts back to world coordinates. Even if you want the camera to track (because you’re going through some corners or something) but the camera is at the wrong angle, you will have to deal with the camera not facing the correct direction for > 2 seconds, which is a long time.

To be honest, I think if they want the panning to be successful they should make the camera look in the same direction as the Velocity of the VehicleSeat.
