There’s an odd behavior of the mouse that is (almost) beyond words. If you play in Solo mode, zoom in to first person, look at the horizon and try to slowly move your mouse downwards, you’ll find that the camera view refuses to angle downwards on some moves of the mouse cursor. It’s as if you have to move the mouse more when angling the camera downward than in other directions. This does not happen in any other direction but down.
How to reproduce:
[ol]
[li]Go into a place solo mode[/li]
[li]Zoom into first person[/li]
[li]Look at the horizon.[/li]
[li]Slowly move your mouse cursor downward[/li]
[/ol]
This is not a hardware problem or a mouse configuration problem. I’ve tried this with 3 different mice (a 4 year old one, a 2 year old one and a brand new Razer mouse that I bought with DevEx money (thank-you)).
I didn’t see anything wrong, yet, my mouse cursor’s speed is almost at full max. Otherwise, I didn’t have to move the mouse more to look at the desired downward angle.
I can reproduce this! For the last couple months I thought it was just my wired mouse, but I didn’t ever notice this bug in-game.
That was a good description of how to reproduce it.
One more thing I’ll add: You have to start at the horizon before you move slowly down. At that point, the mouse really struggles (or can’t at all) move down slowly.
I’ve also been getting this a lot, also the strange bug where your mouse gets pushed into the top left corner of the screen, doesn’t even have to be on the same monitor roblox is on. That one only seems to happen when you open a play solo test and alt tab before the client loads.
I don’t have any options relating to mouse acceleration… I think, but my pointer speed is at the highest it will go on windows, and the enhance pointer precision check-box is checked.
