Hey guys
For the past week, I’ve been writing my own explorer plugin since I’m not much of a fan of the Next-Gen explorer’s design (It’s too big) which is why I made my own!
The explorer uses a technique called List Virtualization or Virtualized List, allowing for it to render up to a million instances with very minimal lag.
Searching works the same as the old explorer but it’s faster too

- Port or remake the Insert Object menu
- Keybinds
- Renaming
- Context menus
- Options/preferences menu
- Kill smooth scrolling
- Team create support
- Drag and drop & box selecting
- Add reparenting support from the properties panel (Doesn’t seem possible atm)

- Folder colors
- Customizable context menus
- Favorites/pinned
- Explorer styles?
