Dragonfly Theatre | Public Handbook

Dragonfly | Handbook

Greetings. This handbook contains important information you will need to know when being a part of the Dragonfly community.

About Us

Dragonfly Theatre was founded on 04/16/22 by celxstialcarly and WackyEmmaCat. Previously, the theatre was called Eclipse Theatre, but after a while it was rebranded. Here, staff can put on plays by hosting, acting, building sets, having costumes, etc. What makes us different from other theatre groups? This is a women-owned group. Most of our higher staff are in fact female.

Signed,
celxstialcarly
Chairwoman

Theatre Rules for Staff & Audience

In the theatre, it is our duty to keep the community safe for everyone. To do that, we need to set some rules for everyone to follow, to ensure everyone’s well-being.

ROBLOX’S TOS

Under no circumstances are you allowed to break Roblox’s ToS.

SPAMMING

Spamming and or mass spamming is strictly prohibited inside and outside the theatre.

PROMOTIONS

Never hint at promotions. Hinting towards a promotion can lead to a demotion. If you want to get a higher rank, show that you are worthy of it. Be active, do your job, help other staff members and or audience.

F3X

F3X abuse is forbidden in the theatre, if you are found abusing, you will be banned. (Deleting sets without permission, mass cloning, etc)

TROLLING

Taking trolling way too far can lead to a kick or ban, try to keep it light-hearted for the most part.

CAPS

Using caps in any way harmful such as harassing someone or spamming can and will lead to a ban.

CHAT FILTER

Don’t try to bypass Roblox’s filter. (having a bypassed username or bypassing the chat filter)

Affiliate Information

As Dragonfly Theatre is a growing community, we need different outlets to expand, and one way we do that is through affiliates with other groups like our own. When two groups have an affiliate, they both gain members from each other’s groups, therefore growing both groups in the process.

Requirements:

  • At least 100 non-botted group members.
  • Organized and active ROBLOX and Discord.
  • MR+ must be professional.
  • Willing to stay active in our alliance.
Getting a Job

If you are at all interested in working at Dragonfly Theatre, you first need to know how to get the job. To do this, you need to take an application and attend and pass a training session.

Applications
When becoming a staff member, you must start by passing the application. To access this, just go to the group page and then to games. You’re free to take the application at any time. It consists of ten questions, which consist about the warning system, the staff, and working in the theatre in general. If you pass, you will be given the trainee role, however, if you fail, you have to wait 12 hours before taking the application again. If and when you pass, you can move on to a training session.

Trainings
After passing your application, you will be given the trainee role, meaning you are ready for trainings. The training session helps you get ready for your job and makes sure you know what you’re doing, however, this only applies if you pass. Training times are posted in our communications server, game descriptions, and the training times section of this handbook, and sessions usually last about 30-45 minutes. During the training sessions, you will be divided into groups of people who are training for the same job as you. There are four sections to the trainings— information portion, greetings portion, trolls portion, and the test— so it’s best to jot down notes to refer to. Throughout the session, you will be given a certain amount of points for every section you pass, and to pass the training overall, you need 4 points. These points can be taken away for incorrect answers and or not being able to be understood properly. If you pass, you’ll be given your rank and can start working immediately, however, if you fail to get at least 4 points, then you will be kicked from the training session and will have to try again in the next one.
