Dying Simulator Remake

I have many people in my DM’s ask me, “Hey valid, what will Dying Simulator Remake be about?”. Today I will be talking about a game idea that is more then what the title seems. An idea I have had in my head for a very long time. In this post I will be talking about DSR’s (Dying Simulator Remake) general idea, a few systems, items, and much more.

Inspiration:
~ DSR was mostly inspired from mad_hhhh’s game called ‘be dead forever simulator’.

Extra Info:
~ This remake is based off my old game called ‘dying simulator’. This remake of this game is being done due to the amount of bugs, old models I made, intermediate potential, etc that occurred in the original game.

Base Layout:
~ DSR will include a economy system, custom identification system, unique game passes, unique buildings, unique items, and much more.

Systems:
~ Identification System:

  • As soon as a new player joins, they are randomly assigned a generated name.
  • This name will save whenever they leave, although there are possibly multiple ways to change this name.
  • If you get killed by a Death Note , your name will automatically change and save. The Death Note will be explained later on.
  • You can also go to a certain facility where you can change your name using Cash or Robux.

Death Note User Getting A Player’s Name:

  • The Death Note user can buy a laptop from a certain shop and use it to hack a database, this hack will require preparation, time, and practice in order to perform. If the hack succeeds you will be getting 40% - 60% of the servers names.
  • A player can sign a petition that you own and can further also get the name.
  • A player can send you mail to your house (If you own one) and can further get the name.

Possible Idea’s For Getting Names

  • If a Non Death Note user succeeds in a hack , they can use there laptop and post it on a special website the name, picture of the targets face, etc. Anyone can fake information on the special website.
  • If the player works at a certain building (Explained in Jobs later on), the Death Note user can sneak into the buildings storage room using a lock pick and proceed to open file cabinets using it, the lockpick has a 15 - 25% on breaking each cabinet.

Economy and Jobs:
~ The economy system in this game will be simple on release but will get advanced later on in future updates. You can have one Job at a time along with a Side Job. This is due to the factor of economy loop holing.

There will be around 4 Jobs and a few side jobs.

Items:
~ You use your money to buy these items, they do not grant any advantage, all they might do is change your characters appearance, UI, etc.

Buildings:
~ Most buildings will hold items, certain NPC’s, and jobs. Some will be decorative buildings. Some shop names will be Valid’s Shop, Roux’s Shop, Floppa’s Shop, and Moxi’s Caffe.

Crate Building Idea

  • For one of the main jobs you can deliver crates from the Crate Building and drop it off at Moxi’s Cafe for some money. Holding these crates will make you a bit slower though.

Price: 15 Robux
What It Does: Custom Emote and Possibly A Gold Chain (Very Real)

Peanut:
Price: 10 Robux
What It Does: Upon eating it you will have a 50/50 chance of having a allergic reaction. If you don’t have one, a sound effect congratulates you for eating.

Better Life:
Price: 100 Robux
What It Does: It will make houses cheaper to buy, a slight raise in the amount of money you get in jobs, 10 Cash every 30 minutes (Might Change Later On).

Death Note:
Price: 300 Robux
What It Does: You can type the players generated name (Identification System) and you have a choice to make them have a Heart Attack, Poison, or a neck snap.

Progress:

1/20/2022 - 80-85%
