Dynamic head not validating color changes

I create faces on the catalog and upload them in both brown and black recolors. However, many times only one color will pass validation and the other will not despite having the exact same mesh, bones, and facial animations. In the example above, only the black face on the left passed validation when the brown face on the right did not. Most of the time I expect darker colors to pass validation because the facial animations are more visible with the contrast, but the other colors I provide are not much of a drastic difference in contrast.

Hey, I think the issue here is mostly on the mouth. We are checking the rendering of mouth open against the neutral pose. If the mouth is not open big enough, plus the less contrast color, it will make it difficult to detect mouth open/smile/frown. I would suggest making mouth open animation more a bit more obvious and it would help pass validation

No freaking way, changing the texture of my dynamic head to include a color fixes the issue I was having. Thank you!

I guess I can’t upload recolorable heads that have white eyes, recolorable eyes it is then.
The validation system could probably be updated though, just saying

We are revisiting the rendering check right now. We should have updated algorithms ready in the next a few months.
