What do you want to achieve?
I want to successfully upload a Dynamic Head (part of bundle) to the Roblox Marketplace without this validation error.
What is the issue?
When trying to publish the head, the Marketplace validation blocks the upload with this error:
“Dynamic Heads on the marketplace must be setup to properly animate the core facial movements, but our detection did not notice a substantial change.”
The head looks correct in Studio and behaves normally when testing, but the Marketplace validator still rejects it.
What solutions have you tried so far?
Rigging the character completely
Making a new inner cage and outer cage
Editing cages in the autosetup
Additional details
Created in Blender
Uploaded using Roblox Studio
If anyone has run into this before or knows exactly what to do, I’d really appreciate some guidance. Thanks!

Same problem, no solution. I think its because of new dynamic head update

Having the same issue, tried several things and nothing seems to work.
tired on roblox adding new validation requirements without any explanation or example of the correct way to do it.
the error is self explanitory yet when i try making something that aligns with what they are asking, it doesnt work.
what exactly are they trying to do or fix or prevent??
this is highly disappointing.
EVEN ROBLOX’S AUTOSETUP FAILED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT
how are we suppose to adhere to a rule that roblox fails to document as well as their OWN AI struggling to meet the new requirement.

after looking into it, i found some files that still pass this validation requirement.
i found some template files here
i specifically looked into this file:
and i looked into the position of the facial bones compared to the mesh and cage mesh
(shrunk the bones to make it easier to see)
and it appears the eyes and mouth bones need to be around these selected faces/vertices in the mesh i have selected.
this is only an idea, not a solution
compare this to your existing head_geo and head cage mesh to make it be similar to the template file

I just found solution. Your model needs to have 3d mouth and 3d eyes to get validated. Roblox requires fully animated heads rn, not static.

Not a solution, it still gives that error even if they are aligned and are 3d and have FACs roblox is just trolling us at this point

Doesn’t work anymore. Just ruins models.

Now im facing another validation restriction that isnt really making much sense to me.
I have included all 17 required FAC’s, added good range for each FAC, as well as adding good amounts of vertices to satisfy the animation threshold error yet nothing fixes this validation requirement.
anyone else suffering from this validation error or know how to fix it? this has brought all new projects to a complete hault.
