Dynamic Lighting Initialization Bug

When I join a new game, or when I open Studio and open a new map, the dynamic light grid seems to be initialized on one side of the X-axis, but not on the other side, resulting in a strange “half-lit” effect. Toggling GlobalShadows on and off doesn’t fix the bug, and neither does walking into the shaded area. It typically fixes itself after a minute or so.

Example in a live game:

Example in Studio (with display axis on):

Interesting. Is this recent? What’s your GPU? Does this happen in both Direct3D and OpenGL modes?

Also does lighting actually work in lit area? Hard to tell from the screenshot.

It does affect lighting;

GPU:

Happens under Direct3D but not under OpenGL, the automatic setting for my Studio was Direct3D.

It does affect lighting;

That’s not what I mean. For example, in your latest screenshot, what would happen if you attached a big (range=30) red point light to the center of the blue part?
