Early look at a game called "Procession"

Hi! I’ve been working on my very own game called ‘Procession’ for the past few years. After many rebuilds and conceptualizations, I’ve finally managed to design something that’s workable for me, since I’m not the best builder/programmer out there, while still keeping the original idea of the game: A sci-fi story/adventure game. Here are some very early sneak peaks of what you may expect the game to look like. Feel free to give me your input!

The game’s lobby simply is a futuristic lab. (Don’t mind the yellow being in the background)

The players are able to travel to various worlds using the Galaxy Map. There will be a wide range of planets for players to visit, each with their own unique ecosystem. From exoplanets, to ice planets, to space stations and even to the center of the galaxy!

This is the galaxy map, a little empty now as you can see. Planets will be added over time. The player simply has to click a world they want to visit.

Each location has it’s own respective loading screen. As you can see, a dark and shady metropolitan city.

Welcome to Omega! There’s only one rule…

Omega is a space station built on a meteorite. It isn’t a nice place to live really.

Note the pipes and wires just sticking out of the ceiling. It tells a lot about the people living here.

For the doors I use the newly released ‘ProximityPrompt’. It’s the easiest way to make keypress doors for someone who doesn’t know that much about programming. The doors are the result of an experiment to find a way to easily create and animate doors. Rather than programming it’s movement upon interacted, I tried to turn it into a custom rig containing only 4 attachments: Left side, Right side, Left Lock and Right Lock and animated that using nothing more than Roblox’ built-in animation editor.
The result: a door that’s easy to modify and moves smoothly.

Procession may look like a dead-serious game, but it wouldn’t be from my hand if it didn’t have it’s fair share of easter eggs! So I’ll just finish my post with the first easter egg: the screeching… I dont know what this is really…

Please let me know what you think, what you like or dislike and what you would like to see!

Wow man!
I have a quick question is this a roleplay or is this an actual adventure.

I second this question!
Always good to see when people spend more than 10 seconds thinking up stories for their games nowadays

Yo this actually looks really nice, gives me innovation inc labs vibes from back in the day, will have to give it a play when it fully comes out. The storyline is interesting “a space station built on a meteorite.” This game has alot of promising aspects.

It’s a little bit of both. At some points in the story, players will have to make choices (eg to save colonists or let die). The choices the player makes shape the story and multiple outcomes are possible. There will also be side-quests which involve ‘exploring the unknown’. Furthermore, players can play, explore and chat together. You’re basically shaping your own hero using the game’s story and your own imagination.

In short: there will be something for everyone to enjoy and new features will be added on demand!

Well this is truly something. I mean it in a very pleasing and good way. Hope to see your game on the “Popular Worldwide” page someday! :happy3:

bro this looks sick

the maps look beautiful so far and i like that there’ll be a story element as well and not just an elaborate showcase like some games i’ve seen

i love space exploration games as well so i’ll be :eyes: if this is released
