Ease of Access Concerning Unread Topics

Below is a picture of the “unread topics” section of the forum. One of the concerns I have with it is how you have to go into each thread and change it from tracking to normal there. This is fine, just one extra click, unless you’re like me and have 20 different unread topics. It would be very convenient to-- on the first page you click to-- have a button on the side to change the status of the thread. And sure, there’s a dismiss button, but it would be really nice to be able to dismiss individual posts (like I sent in the second image).

If anyone else has any additional thoughts, feel free to share them.

You can use these forum settings to customize your browsing experience:

For example, you could disable auto-tracking of posts when you enter them, and only track them after you spend a certain amount of time in the topic or you reply to the topic.
