Hey! This is my first post on the fourms, so excuse me if I post anything out of line.
I am a programmer (for 4 years, going on 5) and I decided, why not try building? And low poly seems satisfying to my eyes, so I tried it out for myself!
But I know there are Top-notch builders out there, but this is my first time and will need suggestions/opinions for my next build I make. (This took me around 1-2 hours to make lol.)
I absolutely love the design of the store. Firstly, it looks very polished as it is not too crammed with parts and the quantity of colour is not overdone. Secondly, I love how you used a variety of different shapes in each part of the model, it allows the shop to have more life and not just some blocky approach.
However, I do recommend being mindful of the colours you select within your builds. For the tree, I know that the pot and the trunk are meant to be associated in a way, but having similar colours could be a problem for future builds. If you did not already know, there is a colour picker in which you can modify the light and darkness of the colour while altering it on the wheel. Secondly, I am not a big fan of those strokes on the windows and doors. They look a little bit out of place, I personally would just remove them entirely and just have it simple.
the store is one of the best low poly shops I have ever seen, personally the only thing I would change is the door to wood or something cause it looks slightly repetitive on the building so doing that would help but other than that awesome job .
No ones trash at building, because that was my first low poly build. I didn’t expect to get this much positivity from the store I made. (As I explained in the post.)
I like the effects on the windows but effect on the door is looking weird you should change door color and you should add flower and some tree variation
