eManual - Get Roblox documentation concisely and aesthetically in an all-in-one plugin!

Hey developers!
I have made a useful plugin which uses the official API dump used to view the properties, methods, events, callbacks, and all Enums and EnumItems of almost every instance type in Roblox!

Installation

Skip if you know how to download a plugin from the marketplace (which you should)

  1. Go to the plugin page and buy it for $4.99. I’d say it’s worth it if you really want an easy way to know how to properly use different classes
  2. Go to the toolbox in Roblox Studio, click on the plugin and press Install
Usage

The way to use this plugin is really very simple:
Open the plugin, search for the class you want, and click it.

You can filter by properties, methods, events or callbacks or EnumItems so you can see specifically what you want to see.
Simply click a property or method or event or callback or EnumItem that you want to see, and you will see a brief description based on the Roblox API.

This plugin is really useful to see what all the methods and properties of different classes do so you can more easily understand how different classes work and how to use them to deepen your understanding of the Roblox engine!

If you have a spare $5 lying around and you this plugin is worth it, feel free to purchase this plugin! Even one purchase would really make my day

Thank you for reading!

For those who keep coming to argue about how it’s not worth $5, unless Roblox reduces the minimum paid price, the is not coming down. I really don’t understand the general negativity of the Roblox community, there’s really no need, if that’s what you’re coming to do please turn back and take your business elsewhere. I think it’s a neat plugin that saves a bit of time and I do really need the extra cash, so if you could support me, that would be great!

$5 for something I can view by just pressing Alt Tab or F1 if you don’t already have the documentation open.

Thanks for the encouragement

If the minimum price could be less I’d make it less. You could say the same thing about many others plugins like AlreadyPro’s rig importer so this hate just feels a bit unnecessary tbh‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎

The plugin looks really cool but I don’t think it is worth the price, as you can literally the same thing for free.

Alright, thanks for the feedback! I only price it like this so I can get something out of it as well. If it could be lower, I’d make the price lower

This isn’t really a valid argument now is it? Other plugins being priced above what they’re worth means you should do the same thing?

Ofc I’m gonna do the same thing if I wanna get something out of it, there’s zero benefits to me if it’s free. You might not like it but it’s practical and I’m broke

I am not sure if it is coincidents or not, but the plugins UI looks AI generated? And if it is you are selling a max of 30 Minutes of work for 5 bucks…

This did not take 30 mins of work, this took over a week

If you want to publicly advertise that this is a factor in your pricing of the plugin, then good luck getting the sales you’re looking for lol.

I wouldn’t spend anything on a plugin, even if it’s something I’d use, if the creator publicly admits they priced it above what it’s worth because “other people do it too”

Probably vibe coded slop too.

If you make other paid plugins that are actually worth a price label, there absolutely is a benefit in that people can see and experience a baseline expectation of how well your other plugins will perform and are written through it.

Nobody’s going to pay even a dollar for a plugin that saves maybe 10-20~ seconds at best compared to just opening their browser (and even then Roblox already makes it fast enough with URLs within studio at every reasonable location pointing to the documentation of something).

Good for you man, I’ve gotten sales on other plugins before, you trying to argue about why it’s too high and insulting the plugin ain’t doing sh

You have no proof and are only saying that because somebody else said it too, get an original opinion instead of saying stuff with no proof

Doesn’t sound like you’ve sold any plugins or anything worth real money before, you’d be surprised

Ok and? There’s still no more benefit then having 2 worthy plugins at $5 then 2 worthy plugins and 1 mediocre plugins at $5 each, this comment is irrelevant

I never mentioned your other plugins and I don’t care about them. Discussing why this plugin isn’t worth its price and the fact that you price it this way simply because other people do in a public forum will let other people come to make a decision based off this, if they care to read any of these replies. In fact the very first reply to this post mentions this being overpriced, lol. So it almost certainly will do “sh”

So far you’ve stroked your ego by mentioning other plugins and making sales off them, and stated how you openly want to overprice this plugin simply because other people do. Yikes. Good luck I guess lol, this is my last reply.

Oh and I never said your plugin is vibe coded. I said it probably is, if you would have taken the time to properly read and comprehend what I wrote you’d know that.

If you’d like another point of view on the issue of why this type of plugin shouldn’t be costing money, here’s one.

Essentially what you’re trying to provide us is a UI wrapper for the API reference inside of Roblox Studio itself. The idea is useful, as we cannot directly open web-pages within the app and it’s a hassle going from Studio to browser to whatever to just check some property name or function.
The problem stems from the very core, the amount of time it took you to do it won’t determine if it’s worth the price. This plugin is simply that, a JSON-to-UI wrapper which (subjective opinion) doesn’t even match Studio’s theme. I’d personally be impressed if anyone decided to buy your plugin, not because it is useless, but because there are free, possibly better alternatives.
You should also never compare the things you do to other things you or others have done in the past. Imagine if it were the reverse, you did a terribly bad thing with a plugin (or anything), people hate you for it, then come back to release a good plugin. Won’t go well.

I like the hustle but if you’re going to make a plugin which does extremely minimal - saves 20s of time, you can’t really expect sales - especially 5 dollars.

Also, it’s obvious that you used AI to make this - nothing against you doing this but at least make something much more useful if you want to get sales.
