I’m reporting a critical backend server data desync bug that falsely locked my group, even though my wrongful DMCA takedown case has been fully resolved. This technical glitch has caused severe, irreversible losses to my studio and community.
Background
My content was wrongly removed on May 6, 2026 under a false DMCA claim. I submitted a legal DMCA counter-notice on May 21, 2026, and Roblox restored my games and full account access on June 9 with zero account penalties.
The core issue is a database sync failure on your backend: the system never updated group records to match the closed DMCA case. The group remains permanently locked only because server data fails to synchronize, not due to any policy or copyright violation. Standard customer support tools have no access to fix this backend mismatch.
All group development and community management has been suspended for nearly two months. Many players have left my community, and my studio’s operation is at risk without a fix.
Urgent Request
I sincerely request that members of the DET team manually resolve the incorrect lock status on group ID 35766528 and refresh the backend server data, so that it aligns with the DMCA issues I have already resolved. This synchronization issue is preventing me from proceeding with my community’s development work. Please give this urgent matter your immediate attention and assistance.
I recommend keep trying to contact Roblox Support. The more you do it, the more likely you can get an actual human. If the agent gives you inaccurate information or doesn’t help properly make a new ticket.
Thank you for this brother’s guidance. However, I’ve tried contacting customer service via tickets over the past two months with no resolution. With no other choice, I’m posting here to ask forum administrators for their help.
I have submitted a revised, complete bug report for this identical Open Cloud data desync issue with full evidence attached. Please refer to my new post linked below for full details, this old thread can be archived:
