Emote upload blocked if animation track was uploaded multiple times

Hi there,
So I found out that if you update the animation track several times and then try to upload the emote, you get this error.!

The only way to fix this is to reupload a new animation track that doesn’t get updated, so it stays at version 1. Only then is it possible to upload the emote, which makes absolutely no sense.

Expected behavior

It shouldn’t matter what version the animation track has, it should always work.

The problem is, people may abuse this to alter or change the animation track while in upload/after upload to put something that is against the TOS, that’s likely why this rule is enforced

To make it simpler: once you’ve uploaded an animation track, it can’t be possible to update it afterward.

You already can’t update animation assets that are in an emote

I think this restriction is to prevent reverting the asset to a previous version via the creator dashboard

Hi! Thank you for making this post! It is an intended requirement that emotes use an animation with only one version. If you have any other questions, please let us know!
