After the recent introduction of the emote uploading feature for UGC creators (see the official announcement here: Avatar Creators Can Publish and Sell Emotes on Marketplace), I’ve noticed an issue in the Creator Hub.
When navigating to Creations > Avatar Items > Animations > Emotes, the emotes are treated as both Development Items and Marketplace Items. Specifically, two archiving options are available: “Archive” and “Archive in Marketplace.”
Since emotes are Marketplace Items, they should only be treated as such, and the presence of both archiving options creates unnecessary confusion. The two archiving choices seem redundant and do not align with the intended treatment of emotes.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Upload an emote through Roblox Studio.
- Go to Creations > Avatar Items > Animations > Emotes.
- Notice that the emotes are displayed with both “Archive” and “Archive in Marketplace” options.
- Observe that the emotes are treated as both development and marketplace items, causing confusion.
Expected Result:
Emotes should only have the “Archive in Marketplace” option and be treated solely as Marketplace Items, just like other Marketplace UGC items.
