What are you using for particles? Screen GUI based, or part based? Also, no matter how silly it might seem, part based particles actually are faster and better than pure GUI particles. Also the fact, that it automatically does depth-sorting for you.

What, bricks are ‘faster’? You got to be kidding me. And also, it’s BillboardGui with little tiny frames inside of it (also, this .mp4 file about the shooting particles already is outdated).

Yeah, I’ve tested both. On screen GUI with particles positioned according to 3D position takes more performance hit, than anchored parts with billboard GUI in it. As silly it seems, that’s how it works on roblox.
