I have a few concerns regarding enforcement bans as I personally have been affected by this.
I want to start off by saying I have been on this platform since 2009. I like to think anyone who has been on this platform as long as me have also had a good share of multiple accounts over the years.
However, in the beginning of this year one of my accounts was terminated for an asset I uploaded in 2014. The asset stayed up for over 10 years and never was moderated until 2025.
Here’s another thing, I did not even know that specific account got deleted for the moderated asset until over a month later when I got enforcement banned on another account which made confused and had to google what the enforcement ban meant. I then found out that an enforcement ban is evading another ban so there must of been an account that actually has a proper ban reason.
This led me to login to all of my accounts and try to figure out which one actually was deleted with proper reasoning.
Once I found out which account was banned I obviously sent an appeal email but was rejected and then I sent another and was rejected for being over 30 days etc.
For whatever reason, this current account I am on has not been affected by any enforcement ban (yet), but throughout this year all my accounts have slowly been getting deleted by the enforcement ban.
I even made a brand new account and bought premium, that account got deleted the next day for enforcement ban.
If we have an account that gets terminated, are we forbidden to use the platform again? - Because technically making a new account counts as ban evading?
I even emailed support asking if I can just be allowed to make a new account while keeping my old accounts banned - they emailed be back the same “30 days too late” email.
I use this platform to take commissions in developing and develop for fun in my free time. I don’t understand why an asset from 2014 has caused this much damage with no help in sight. It just feels like I have been kicked off the platform since I can’t make any new accounts and any previous account I had is gone.
yes, you are exactly correct which is also my question - if you miss out on the appeal window are you now just automatically not allowed on the platform?
I have also asked support to keep my accounts banned but “lift” the enforcement ban from keep happening to any new accounts I make but no luck.
basically yes, if you have no way to appeal the ban youre kinda just stuck with the enforcement ban scar, but if you get enforcement banned on a new account you ‘could’ try to appeal it on that specific account.
unfortunately I tried appealing the new account’s enforcement ban and it gets rejected within 2-3 minutes. I’ve basically given up which is why I made this post lol.
does anyone know a moderator I can PM personally about this? I read somewhere on another post there was a moderator on this forum that helped someone out regarding a similar situation…
I don’t know the success rate of this new moderation enforcement ban system - but what I am noticing is there’s always a new wave of active players being negatively affected by this.
meaning there’s so many players right now that will face terminations that are INEVITABLE due to roblox’s poor AI asset moderation.
what I am trying to say is;
there’s players right now who aren’t banned but will eventually get banned/terminated due to whatever AI moderation that is handling the moderation of player’s who uploaded assets in the past.
and the cycle will repeat, they will be on here specifically asking for answers and looking to appeal.
I strongly believe when it comes to reviewing player uploaded assets it should be manually reviewed by a human, especially if the asset was uploaded between the earlier years of roblox (2009-2016)
anyone who has been on this platform long enough knows how different roblox was during the earlier years and what was allowed back then is clearly not allowed now.
