Around 8am (GMT +7), Jul 15, I curiously turned on Enhanced Protection myself, switching over from authenticator app, which was working completely fine before this happened. I didn’t realize this would end up turning off 2FA and now I’m totally stuck. Roblox’s account recovery method doesn’t work at all because I don’t have any backup codes. I struggled the whole yesterday morning to find a way to handle this but there was nothing. Even Roblox Support was like “Too many request”, I couldn’t call for help at all.
“Your device will ask you for fingerprint, face ID, or screen lock.”
Though it says that, no fingerprint, face ID, or screen lock verification prompt appears. It’s just a menu like this pops up.
The issues:
- QR code doesn’t work whenever I scan it my phone - “No passkeys available in this device”.
- I’m unable to create a new passkey as the system requires passkey verification to do it.
- It’s possible for me to recover my acc due to forgetting backup codes.
- There is no way for me to turn of Enhanced Verification myself or switch back to my authenticator app.
- Because of this, I can’t even send fund through community transfer, and I can’t log in my acc from other devices either (passkey is also needed to do quick login).
Can someone advise on how to disable Enhanced Protection or get my account access restored without a passkey? Please help me out…
