Ever wanted your game to make fun of you when something goes wrong? :sob:

Introducing Error Roast, a Roblox Studio plugin that turns your usual errors into a little bit of chaos.

:skull: What does it do?

When you start your game and an error occurs, Error Roast detects it and responds with a random combination of:

:speaker_high_volume: Sounds — because a normal error isn’t enough.
:framed_picture: Images — random images appearing at the perfect moment to make the situation even more ridiculous.

For example, your game throws an error and suddenly you get a completely random sound effect together with an image.

  • Detects errors when running your game
  • Plays random sounds when an error occurs
  • Displays random images/reactions
  • Designed purely for fun
  • Lightweight and easy to use
  • Makes debugging sessions a little more chaotic

Because debugging for 3 hours only to discover that you forgot one end deserves consequences. :skull:

This plugin doesn’t replace Roblox Studio’s normal error output — it’s simply a fun addition for developers who want something entertaining to happen whenever their game breaks.

it has an equivalent premise to the question you asked.

the issue is presentation. an ai thumbnail or a restaurant with a poor name disuades people from using it, no matter its content.

I would’ve checked this out if not for the blatant usage of AI to create this tool, not assist, CREATE. I just don’t see this as something a human released, this is by definition slop.

what distrust and how is it relevant?
Its a free plugin you can literally see the code
You just try to find justification to insult someone at this point
Replace word “AI” with something else and here you just harassed someone for absolutelly no reason

AI is distrust due to privacy concerns with how it feeds off uncontested data and outdated contents as per its time of learning.
Anything “AI as the creator” products is immediately a no go specifically because of these reasons.

I’m fairly criticizing a module, I am not insulting it. I named it slop as per the definition; " AI slop, also known as slop content or simply slop, is digital content made with generative artificial intelligence that is perceived as lacking in effort, quality, or meaning"

I do not see something created entirely with AI as to have effort or quality, I can see it having meaning but it’s not and, it’s an or.

It is relevant to the plugin; as why would someone who has distrust around AI use the plugin? It actively hurts the reputation of both the creator and the plugin itself.

But it’s fine to do so; I just don’t understand why you seem to be projecting your own insecurity about AI so much on other people and being incredibly hypocritical about it

I wasn’t expecting all this chaos over a plugin

And yeah, I made it with AI, mostly just for fun and to test out the new Sonnet model. I understand that devs, including myself, don’t really like the excessive use of AI.

I made this plugin because I thought it would be funny to use and share with others.

The only reason I used AI for it is because I’m currently working on a major project and didn’t really have the time to create the whole plugin from scratch.

but other than that i suggest you checking it out bc it’s funny
