Hello everyone. Thank you all for patiently waiting for the release of Eternal Strike. In this post I will talk about the what the game is about and report on the development on the game.

The game’s development has been going quite well, so far, roughly 40% of the game has been completed. The current estimated release date will be sometime in September 2022 although that is subject to change.

About Eternal Strike

Eternal Strike is a dark fantasy game with its combat being inspired by souls-like games together with its unforgiving difficulty. Players can explore, craft items, collect harvestables, fight bosses, conquer dungeons and be a part of the story.

There will be multiple areas/maps with the majority of them being long linear maps while some are vast open world areas. Only be 2 maps will be available upon the initial release of the game, with more being added in future updates. Each server will allow for 10 players, however, this may be decreased depending on the game’s performance.

Why is development taking so long?

The game is currently only being developed by one person, me. Having no prior knowledge in coding, modelling, and basic game design. A large portion of the time is spent on learning how to do the aforementioned examples. This will unfortunately affect the quality of the game but hopefully the next couple of updates will be better in quality.
