Every game I create always gets bad stats no matter what

Recently I’ve created 3 games over the past 6 months but every game I create always fails. I dont understand why but If i could get some feed back it’ll help.

Game 1 sell water tycoon

Sell water tycoon

Game 2 Launch a cannon

launchacannon
game is a really fun concept were you collect cannons and launch them

Game 3 Eat a brainrot

Eatabrainrot

My method of releasing these games were to advertise, wait until the benchmarks show then if its bad I just wouldnt touch it is this abandoning game method good or should I change my ways on this.

This has already been made

This sounds boring

Sounds boring + oversaturated market.

This may be a crazy outlandish suggestion, but maybe make something new that actually sounds fun to play?

Firstly, I can’t tolerate seeing another brainrot game. Please do not make another brainrot game. There is already SAB, etc. Please make something unique and fun! I wish you the best.

Hello @subadam1. Firstly, your games are not failing, you’re learning. Here’s what you’re doing right:

  1. You’re shipping games. Most people never even finish ONE (including some people who may be unconstructively replying to you here). You have made 3 games in 6 months
  2. You’re experimenting with different game concepts. This is how you find what works.

Do not listen to a word of these other discouraging replies. Firstly, players already clicked on your game and played, that means they’re interested. The reason players leave so fast (in less than 1 minute) is:

  • Unclear what to do
  • They’re not hooked immediately
  • Missing an exciting moment: they don’t get a sense of what rewards they should be chasing.

Here’s some real advice: don’t abandon your games after one try! Instead:

  1. Watch those first 60 seconds (1 minute) obsessively. Use Roblox Analytics (Onboarding/Custom Analytic Funnels) to see exactly why players leave, and fix that!
  2. Make the game super clear. Use a tutorial for unclear starts, and/or make what to do next extremely obvious. This increases clarity of what to do.
  3. Give rewards fast! The first 10-15 seconds should have a reward/level up.

The best game devs have DOZENS of “failed” games behind them. Adopt the iterative mindset and test your games like a scientist. The only way to know why no one is staying in your game is to have solid stats (facts), not opinions by other people, which are always subjective (not factual), it’s just what they think.

Hi just simple advice for you.

In the first few minutes of a game they player needs rewards and an encouraging aim to look forward to. If the game is any part confusing you’ve lost the player straight away.

You’re game also can’t be a worsened copy of any game it won’t work you need to make the game unique and have it’s own wow factor.

For example the water game didn’t work because of the name it doesn’t sound interesting or fun selling water and was too slow paced and not enough wow and dopamine

Launch a cannon doesn’t work because the idea is too confusing you’ve merged 2 ideas together

I can see the improvement keep at it! Also the UI is amazing

Make games that are fun and creative cause im pretty sure people are starting to get tired of brainrot games. Also launch a cannon seems like it has some decent potential. But you should give it a better name.

I played your brainrot game. It has good effects and stuff but it’s confusing and feels weird. Like you took 3 game concepts and merged them together, but they each kind of feel pointless and detached.

What’s the point of eating the brainrots when they earn me money per second? It’s unclear.

Also, at the beginning of the game I was just able to buy the Noobini brainrot only which felt weird, and the sound effect was also annoying and “goofy” when repeated like that.

Merging two game concepts is good but you need to do in a way that is seamless.

Your scripting skills have potential; you can make a successful game if you focus them in the right direction with the right game idea.
