We are always looking for new ways to help your avatar items get discovered by a broader audience. We began testing Today’s Picks on Marketplace last year to feature interesting, relevant, and unique avatar items selected by our in-house curation team of editors to users.
Through our testing with players in the US and Canada, we’ve found daily curations to be most impactful to creators and users alike when the themes are highly relevant to the calendar, such as holidays or other cultural moments. Outside those times, we have found that recommending avatars, avatar items, and emotes on a more personalized basis to users is more successful at getting your creations discovered.
Starting today, Today’s Picks will show up less frequently on Marketplace. Throughout the holiday month of December, our team of curators will feature several daily selections each week with wintry and holiday themes. Please help us find the best of the best within these themes by nominating your avatars, items, and emotes using this form:
Black Friday (Monochromatic items that are dark as the coal you don’t want in your stocking)
Ugly Sweaters (Wacky and warm knitwear items)
Snow Business (Snowy themes and wintry auras)
Jolly Elves (Holiday clothes for all merry makers)
Evergreenery (Pine tree themes with and without lights and decor)
Holiday Party (Festive looks for fanciful gatherings)
Such a gift (Boxes, bows and gifts all aglow)
Welcome 2026! (Looks and items to bring in the new year)

@runlola_run24 If we have multiple winter / christmas / black friday themed items, are we able to submit the form multiple times? Or are we only allowed to submit for one item?
This is really disheartening news. Marketplace Picks was a great way for smaller creators to get their work out there. It wasn’t always about sales. This sort played a big part in motivating me to make better items so that they would be featured. Made it feel like all the hard work we spend on our items paid off. Hope there are more opportunities for creators’ items to be featured in more ways than sponsorships and recommendations.
I’m disappointed by this change. I really enjoyed checking the new picks everyday on the marketplace to discover new UGC creators and unique creations that don’t normally appear on my marketplace feed.
that looks cool! for the #December2025 holiday picks do you usually look for anything in particular besides just fitting the theme? like are there certain styles, colors, or details that tend to catch the curators attention more? Also curious are the personalized recommendations going to stay US and Canada only for now or is there a plan to roll them out globally later?

Also.. you’re featuring stuff largely for north America in winter.. where it’s summer in most countries
But carry on.. we know you’re still testing .. or serving your primary market.
I, and probably many other people based off of Roblox’ reputation on social media, strongly disagree with a lot of the things done on the platform, and the majority of things we do not disagree with feel like a cover up… and we all know why.
But, seemingly shaming them for prioritizing their primary audience over other audiences that may or may not draw in as much revenue for any handful of reasons I believe is a little extreme.
It’s a common business strategy, just be glad this strategy isn’t to be profiting from people or experiences that should not be on the platform in the first place lol.
they can just make it so that seasonal items are only shown in your country’s local season(for example it’s summer in Australia when it’s winter for the UK/US)

hello, I was wondering if we can submit curated avatars ( entire avatar styles, including bundles, clothing, accessories) in the form, or if this is limited to only bundles, accessories, and clothes but not entire avatars. I know roblox has a “Styles” section when users open the app which allows them to purchase entire avatars with accessories and clothes at once, I was wondering if we could submit those in the form as well
can we instead care about how the todays picks for games sometimes absolutely suck? There needs to be more less popular games like Cleanup Crew - Roblox, which I have absolutely fell in love with. I feel as if todays picks often make the rich richer and keep the poor poor. All I want is a bit more variety and less Steal a brainrot.
I think I’d rather just type in some keywords and have the front page only show me those every time I open it. No annoying algorithms, no trying to spoon feed me random things I’m not interested in looking at (I’m looking at YOU, flavor of the month meme items).
