Existing game Arcadia locked to 16+ despite meeting creator requirements

My existing Roblox experience Arcadia is currently restricted to age-checked 16+ users, and I am unable to make the experience available to its intended younger audience.
Arcadia is an established experience that has been on Roblox for approximately two years, rather than a newly created experience. I have completed the applicable Content Maturity & Compliance questionnaire and have attempted to configure its audience appropriately, but the experience remains limited to 16+ users.
My creator account has an active Roblox Plus subscription which I have maintained for more than four consecutive months. I have also completed the required account/identity verification and security requirements. I have attempted to change the experience’s age/audience settings, but I am still unable to make Arcadia available to users below 16. This also substantially limits my ability to advertise and grow an established experience because the available audience is restricted to age-checked 16+ users.
I understand that Roblox uses the Roblox Kids/Select evaluation process for users under 16. However, because Arcadia predates these changes and I believe I have satisfied the creator-side publishing requirements, I would like Roblox staff to review the experience and determine exactly what is preventing it from becoming eligible for Roblox Select.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Arcadia in Creator Dashboard
  2. Navigate to its Audience/Reach settings.
  3. Attempt to configure the experience for its appropriate audience below 16
  4. The experience remains restricted to the 16+ audience
Please review the experience itself and my account’s eligibility status and let me know whether this is an evaluation requirement, an account eligibility issue, an experience moderation/safety issue, or an unintended restriction.
I can provide the Experience ID, direct experience URL, screenshots of Audience Reach, questionnaire results and any additional information required.

Expected behavior

Arcadia should be evaluated according to its actual content, completed maturity questionnaire and the current Roblox Kids/Select publishing requirements.
If Arcadia satisfies the requirements for Roblox Select, I expect it to become available to the appropriate under-16 audience rather than remaining restricted to age-checked 16+ users.
If it does not currently qualify, I would like the Audience Reach page to clearly identify the exact outstanding requirement so that I can address it. In particular, I would like confirmation of whether Arcadia is waiting on the highly engaged player evaluation threshold, a safety review, an account-level requirement, or another condition

I believe that you didn’t reach the 100 player HEP requirement, as you didn’t mention it in this post. If you get that, you’ll be able to publish your game for ages 16 and under.

A bit of advice here though, you might have trouble trying to find players because of the name, Arcadia is a “highly contested” name for games on the platform, as in, there’s alot of games called that. So the algorithm might have a hard time reccomending it to people.

I wish you good luck in meeting the requirements.

Can you share a screenshot of what you see on Audience Reach? And your experience ID would be great (or a link).

Pretty sure you need 250 highly engaged players to be eligible for 16-

Thanks for the update and I was looking at that, but with the new changes I like how it safeguards kids on the platform by tightening restrictions for creators, but also it’s extremely difficult for me as new creators in the arena to get my newly created games out there to the masses. Agreed Arcadia is a highly contested name and I will look closer into possibly renaming the title to ensure that the algorithm not only picks it up, but recommends it to players.

The hardest part is that I just released my game Imposter Academy and even that is going to 16+ even though it is an all ages game. If it is just based on the HEP requirement, then I would have a clearer idea on where to focus more of my attention. I just want to ensure that there are no bugs on my account that would lock it to 16+ moving forward, as all I want to do is keep creating great enjoyable games.

I wish you good luck too with your creations

Yeah, i can agree the publishing requirements for all ages really don’t favor smaller creators, but i’m pretty sure Roblox is just being forced to comply with laws at this point.

Also, thank you!

The others are right here that you’re still missing the highly engaged players requirement. However, as announced at RDC, we’ll be lowering the threshold from 250 to 100 later this year. That means your game will become eligible for Kids/Select!
