Expanding into Roblox Premium’s Information
I’m one of the lucky British people to be given Roblox Premium, so far I love it. It has its perks and downfalls I guess but at the end of the day I think its got steps up from builders club. I have gathered around 10 of my friends in discord who also have Premium and we’ve been discussing what it will mean for the platform and I feel that the community would like to know the new limitations on Premium in regards to:
- How many groups can Premium members join, we’ve noticed builders club members previously could only join 10 groups whereas now they can join considerably more?
- Will a different leaderboard icon be given to those on Premium 2200, Premium 1050 and Premium 450 or will we all be getting the same icon?
- Whats happening to DevEx, will you be required to purchase Premium 2200 in order to cash out (previously you had to be an OBC member and a good standing member - no or old moderation actions against your account)?
A few things we’ve noticed:
- Not tested but we’ve assumed at if your Premium expires then you get taken back to the old builders club screen seeming as my alternate account without builders club cannot buy premium but instead it can buy builders club.
- People aren’t fully aware of Roblox Premium, I’ve known the change was coming for ages however it came out the blue and so maybe a news release in the messages tab saying that Premium is coming would make people better understand the system.
