Expedited Review Refund After Game Ownership Transfer

I couldn’t find any documentation covering this scenario, and since the expedited review fee is a refundable 100,000 Robux, I wanted to ask how ownership transfers affect the refund.

Scenario

  1. Developer A creates and owns an experience.
  2. Developer A pays the 100,000 Robux Expedited Review fee.
  3. The experience is approved through the expedited review process.
  4. Before the 90-day refund eligibility period, ownership of the experience (or the owning group) is transferred to Developer B.

Once the experience becomes eligible for a refund:

  • Who is entitled to receive the 100,000 Robux refund?
  • Is the refund tied to the original account that paid the fee, or to the current owner of the experience?
  • If Developer A no longer has permission to access Creator Hub → Audience → Reach for that experience, how would they request the refund?
  • If Developer A remains a developer with edit permissions but is no longer the owner, does anything change?
  • If the experience changes ownership multiple times before the refund becomes available, who ultimately receives the refund?

The current documentation explains when the refund can be requested, but I couldn’t find anything describing what happens if ownership changes before that point.

An official clarification would be greatly appreciated, as this seems like a situation that could realistically occur when experiences are transferred between developers or groups.

Thank you!

The refund is tied to the account that actually paid the Robux, not the experience itself. If Developer A paid it, they are the ones who have to request it through their transaction history or support ticket. Once ownership moves to a group or another user, the original payment record stays with the payer.

What documentation says this? I was under the impression the refund would only be accessible through the Creator Hub → Audience → Reach page.
