Experience limited to "Ages 16+ and trusted friends" despite having Minimal content rating

Hello,

My experience is currently showing:

Current reach: Ages 16+ and trusted friends
Experience content rating: Minimal
Group publishing reach: All ages

My game is a co-op sim. The experience contains no mature content, violence, gambling, or anything that should require a 16+ restriction.

The content maturity questionnaire shows Minimal, and I believe the experience should qualify for an All Ages audience.

However, the experience reach is still limited to 16+ and trusted friends, and Creator Hub shows:

“Publishing tier at risk. At next publish, your game will lose access to this audience reach.”

Could someone clarify:

• Why is my experience restricted to 16+ despite having a Minimal content rating?
• Is there any additional requirement I need to complete to unlock All Ages reach?
• Is this a bug or is my experience still waiting for review?

I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this.

This is intended behavior. For a bit of context, you need to both reach all ages on your account reach and game reach. If one of those aren’t met yet, then your game will be restricted to 16+.

Due to a safety update, games are restricted to 16+ until they meet both the account reach and game reach requirements, the requirements are:

• ID Verified
• 2 step enabled
• Good account standing
• Refundable 1,000 robux fee
• 500 highly engaged players

Is there any additional requirement I need to complete to unlock All Ages reach?

Based on the screenshot, you need to submit a 1,000 robux fee and reach 500 highly engaged players (the bar at the bottom) in the past 60 days. A highly engaged player is a user who spent a specific amount of robux and/or other small requirements as well. This requirement can be skipped by paying a refundable 100,000 robux fee

What exactly is a “highly engaged player”?

Before a game can reach younger audiences, we need to confirm it meets our policies for Roblox Kids and Select accounts. To do this, our Realtime Multimodal Moderation system reviews player engagement, using signals like account age, play history, and platform spend to verify that it is genuine and comes from highly engaged players.

A highly engaged player is a user who has met a minimum purchase amount anywhere on Roblox in the last 60 days. They don’t need to spend anything in your game. This spend creates a real cost to abuse and makes it much harder for bad actors to generate fake engagement at scale. Your highly engaged player count grows as these users spend time in your game over a 60-day window.

Highly engaged players play all kinds of games, including ones that are free to play, so your game doesn’t need to be monetized for players to count toward your total.

We’ll adjust these criteria over time to capture more genuine players, always with safety as the priority.

Hi! Soundmoji is correct, you need to meet the requirements listed on the Audience Reach page to become eligible for players under 16. I’m going to close this report, but let us know if you run into any other issues.
