Hey! I’m working on a Pet Sim / Bubble Gum style game. All of the UI is already fully built, and the loading screen is mostly done (just needs a few minor tweaks). We’re mainly looking for someone who can handle the backend logic, data saving, and UI. This is a LONG-TERM job.
What you’ll be working on:
- Gacha System: This is the most important part of the job. We want a Gacha system inspired by Genshin Impact with custom banners, drop rates, and a pity system.
- Egg Hatching & Pet System: Scripting the egg hatching logic/animations, pet follow systems, inventory limits, and equipping/unequipping.
- Zone progression
- Currencies & Data Saving: Setting up Coins and Gems with a secure saving method (ProfileService preferred) to prevent dupes.
- UI Integration: Hooking up our pre-built UIs for the Shop, Inventory, Zone Teleporter, and Settings.
- Leaderboards: SurfaceGUI leaderboards to display top 100 across all servers. Three leaderboards, most gems, most robux spent & most time played.
- Quests & Extras: A simple playtime reward system (like playing 10 minutes for a claimable reward) and a few other minor helper scripts. Loading screen tweaks, a simple tutorial, etc
Requirements:
- Portfolio: Show me past work! Videos or playable links of pet systems, inventory setups, or Gacha logic you’ve scripted before.
- Data Persistence: Proven experience with reliable data saving so player progress and pets are safe.
- Communication: Able to post regular progress updates in Discord and keep to a reasonable timeline.
- Clean Organization: Able to work smoothly with pre-made UI structures and write readable code.
- Creativity & Quality Focus: We want someone genuinely interested in building a standout game who takes pride in their work. Bare minimum or rushed implementations won’t pass.
Payment:
20,000 Robux. Negotiable depending on experience and scope. Also open to offering USD via PayPal and a revenue percentage split (or Robux + % rev-share) if preferred!
