mm2 is literally filled with bots that just fly through the map collecting every coin
they don’t even try to look legit
they follow the same automated-looking paths over and over while farming public servers.
Roblox partnered with Synapse Softworks almost 3 years ago to work on exploit prevention btw
yet bots can just fly through one of the biggest games on roblox farming coins for hours
how is this still a thing

this has been a issue for years, the issue got popular in december 2024, and it seems like the issue may have got worse after the MM2 summer update for 2026 released
people gotta understand that the issue isnt with roblox itself, it is with the game developers
do you think that the murder mystery 2 owner cant make a simple detection for things such as flying or noclip?
it brings him more attention and more money, he will obviously keep the bots in the game, its better for him this way
its a recurring pattern that big game developers keep the exploiters to boost their place in the algorithm
MM2 developers can simply implement server authority and their game would basically be exploiter & bot free forever yet they choose not too. With it, bots can’t simply send their position to the server without actually a set of inputs which moves them to the coin and it would be impossible to go out of the map walls to avoid dying aswell. Many games like this with small servers could add it but many didn’t - maybe cause its new. I have faith they will eventually do in the near future if they see this as an issue just like their communities do.
