Hello! We are Roblox Developer Engagement, a new Roblox community to showcase your development.
About us
exploreDev was previously Roblox Design Artists.@EngageDaSync founded the group and server in December 2018. At the time, we focused primarily on Roblox designers and their work. Our goal was to bring light to the artist community on Roblox in hopes of getting them jobs on the platform. With this as our main focus, we have reached more than 200 members. However, with Roblox gaining more and more members every day, we realized that there are more than just artists that need to brought light to. So, we decided that we should branch out and allow for other developers to come and showcase their work as well! On August 6, 2019 we re-branded to exploreDev. Our goal now is to showcase all developers, from Artists to Builders to Scripters to Modelers, we want to bring light to all of them and get them jobs on the Roblox platform! In order to accomplish this new goal of ours, we need some help… We need you! That’s right! No matter what field you are in on Roblox, we want you to join our group and server! If your worried that things will get chaotic, don’t worry! Let me explain how the server works.
How we work
In order to show what your profession is in the server, we have you apply for roles through our website! With this process, we are able to label you for what you can do and your skill level on it. Also, we have a showcase channel where you can post images of your recent creations. Other developers can see this, and if someone likes it you may even get hired right away for a job! If you don’t get a job right away, don’t worry, we have more channels! Through our Hiring channel, you can see posts made by developers who are looking for something. This also means if you are a developer looking to hire someone for something, you can post here too! Through our For-Hire channel you can post what your profession is along with a few examples of your work to show that you are for hire.
Why us?
You may be wondering, why should I join this group? How is this going to help me with my development? Our community is strong and active! Through our server we have gotten many people hired for commissions already and we have trusted members from roblox in our server. Some of these people are even roblox staff themselves!
Our community is constantly growing, so we are open to all ideas that you have for us! We also hope to see you join our community very soon! Till then, happy developing!
