Explorer Scroll Bar Fails to Reach Top of Window After UI Update

Following the recent Explorer UI update, the scroll bar in the Explorer panel does not function correctly when scrolling upwards rapidly. If there are enough items in the Explorer for the scroll bar handle to be small, quickly dragging the scroll bar upward will cause scrolling to stop prematurely when the mouse cursor crosses the top edge of the scrolling frame. As a result, it is difficult to scroll to the absolute top of the Explorer (e.g., to access Workspace or Terrain) in a single quick motion. Instead, the user must carefully drag the handle slowly to reach the top. This problem worsens as the number of items in the Explorer increases, severely hampering usability and workflow. Notably, this issue does not occur when scrolling to the bottom of the Explorer.

Repro Steps:

  1. Open Roblox Studio.
  2. Populate the Explorer with enough objects so that the Explorer scroll bar becomes very small.
  3. Attempt to scroll to the top of the Explorer by quickly dragging the scroll bar handle upwards.
  4. Observe: Once your cursor passes outside the top boundary of the Explorer panel, scrolling stops and the view does not reach the top.
