It’s draw it and edit it in photoshop or any other software editor picture. (and making sure it’s in right Y and X of picture of every sprite)
All starts in beginning then All ends in end or (rebeginning)
So its essentially making a frame by frame animation?
Did you read the section “How did I do it?” with discussion of tools and links to tutorials?
Ah no I didn’t all though, thats going for a much more realistic vfx rather than the stylizied one I’m after. Although I can see some useful resources in it.
This is using flipbooks, there are some good plugins that give you a bunch of free textures that can help make VFX. I used a paid one called Zonito Visuals, but there is another one I think that’s called VFX Studio.
Though, if you’re serious about this style and want a certain effect, you’re probably gonna have to make your own textures.
Yeah thats what I plan on, I just don’t know where to start, for example I’ve got after effects but I have NO idea where to start, or what to do.
Not really related to the process of making this but I highly recommend you to get vfx studio, it has almost the same features as vfx suite and even more high quality flipbooks, textures etc than zintovisuals, which already has thousands. It is free, I simply can’t gate keep it.
I am a beginner in vfx but trust me this plugin has helped me so much.
Definitely worth trying.
