Exporting and Importing problem

Currently trying to export a model from blender into studio.
I have the model in 4 different mesh pieces, so I can colour them all separately in studio.

Problems:

  1. The mesh pieces won’t export separately and instead the whole model is exported
  2. When trying to import into studio, pieces of the whole model are transparent
  3. Half of the time, the import doesn’t work, it tells me to do something with location data and that there are negative parts.

I’ve tried flipping the normals of the mesh parts in blender to no avail.

How can I export all the mesh pieces separately?
How can I import them without them going transparent?
How can I fix the location data issue?

If you know any topics that could help that’d be great, thanks.

  • For trying to import eachj piece seperatley, delete all the pieces you don’t want to export and then export that one piece. Then ctrl z 'till the deleted pieces are back and repeat.
  • The location data thing you describe isn’t a problem indicator, it is just saying whether or not you want the mesh to go to the location it was in in blender, or import infront of your camera.

Or just select the part you want to export, and in the export screen, tick the limit to selected.
