Expressive output huge line spacing

It’s been doing this for a few weeks now, though it’s just getting more and more hard to use…

When literally outputting anything, be it errors, prints, warns… whatever… there is a rather large space between one line and the next.

I’m not sure if it’s related but when going into play solo or any type of testing in Studio, the expressive output canvas position is at the very bottom and also has a rather big space between it and the last line outputted

I use windows 10.
Latest studio update.

This has been happening for a bit now, I’m pretty sure I’ve gone through several Studio updates with this still being an issue.

Noticed this too. It’s like the columns on the far right are squished together breaking over several lines, but because they are so squished you can’t get your cursor in there to reduce the size of the message column.

Another issue other than just the spacing is that this means you can’t see the context column or anything at all other than timestamp and message.

Thought it was just me having messed it up in some way but after toggling the beta feature on and off and moving the panel all round the place it’s still doing it. I’ve had to switch off the beta feature for now.

Yes this happened to me too.
I made a post on this but it hasn’t been approved till now.
So I switched to the normal output

Hi Dev0mar,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We are aware and working on a solution.

I had the same issue. I fixed this by enabling the “Log Mode” button.

It can be found in the menu with the three dots.

This will only print the timestamp and information, nothing more but IMO it’s worth it.
Hope this helps!

It seems to be fixed after Studio 443 release.
Have you tested?

I’ve had this same issue and I haven’t been able to use the new output because the lines are just too spaced apart.

Yes, it appears that the issue has been fixed.
I guess the log mode could be used as a temporary solution.
