My goal was to make a nice looking version that extends the… well, rather glitchy system we currently have. + It works (mostly) + You don’t have to have the website open - Still in beta, so there’s bound to be a few bugs - Still working on a chrome extension to hide the current chat system (they conflict with each other)
Open source
Since you have to enter your username and password (and that may make some uncomfortable) I’ve decided to make this entire project open source. You can find it here: https://github.com/DaMrNelson/RobloxChatBeta
Note to admins
If you do not want this program up (for any reason, like it requiring the user to enter their password or something) drop me a message and I’ll take it down immediately.

[li]Login username and userid now save, password does not[/li]
[li]Login now checks that the userid you entered matches your username (http://api.roblox.com/users/userid)[/li]
[li]Fixed chat sounds[/li]
[li]Now notifies you when somebody sends you a party invite[/li]
[li]Fixed a ton of other party related bugs[/li]
[li]Might have fixed bug that prevented this from working on Mac. Not sure[/li]

[li]Newly provided launcher also checks for updates[/li]

[li]Compatable with ROBLOX’s new token system[/li]
[li]Party now shows how many users are pending[/li]

Oh right, I forgot to mention that I was only able to test for windows. Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed. If that doesn’t work and you manage to figure out the console you can try messaging me the output. Thanks for posting the bug!
Suggestion:
Drag and drop the people that are online to the party to invite them?
Bugs:
when you leave the party it actually does not leave it but it does on the website q.q so you can’t invite other people.
I’ll get to work on your suggestion. But I have no idea how to accomplish that, so I can’t make any promises. Sorry!
As for the bug, are you pressing the “Leave” button, or just the “X” button? If you’re pressing the X button it will not leave the party, it will just hide the window until you press the Party button again (or, in the new update, until somebody messages you).
I exited out of the program then opened it back up for it to work again.
Strange… does that still happen with the new version? I’m assuming it has something to do you with you being on a Mac, since I don’t get that error. But I’m really not sure… sorry about that! I’ll see what I can do.
I’m glad it works! I’ll get to showing people in the party sometime soon. As for auto-updating, I’m still waiting on my friend (who happens to own a webserver) to respond to my message.
Windows:
Try the system tray. Look for a blue ROBLOX logo, click it, and click exit. If that does not work, kill the java.exe/javaw.exe process (possible through taskmanager or running taskkill /F /IM java.exe).
Mac:
App should close itself when you press the exit button. If not, try restarting your computer or killing all java/javaw processes on your computer.
